CNC Machining Materials FAQs
What materials do you machine?
We machine aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, tool steel, brass, copper, titanium, and engineering plastics including POM, nylon, ABS, PC, PEEK, and PTFE.
Can you recommend the best material for my application?
Yes. Send us your drawing and application requirements, and our engineering team can recommend suitable materials based on strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, availability, and cost.
What aluminum grades do you commonly machine?
Common grades include 6061, 7075, 2024, 5052, and 6082. Grade selection depends on strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, and finishing requirements.
Can you machine stainless steel and titanium?
Yes. We commonly machine stainless steel 303, 304, 316, 316L, and 17-4PH, as well as Titanium Grade 2 and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V).
Can you provide material certificates?
Yes. Material certificates and traceability documentation can be provided when required. Please specify your certification requirements when requesting a quote.
Do you offer surface finishing for machined parts?
Yes. Depending on the material and part requirements, finishing options can include anodizing, bead blasting, polishing, plating, black oxide, passivation, and other surface treatments.
