Frequently Asked Questions
What is CNC milling best suited for?
CNC milling is ideal for parts with flat surfaces, pockets, slots, holes, contours, and complex 3D features, including housings, brackets, plates, fixtures, and structural components.
How tight can CNC milling tolerances be?
Typical CNC milling tolerances are around ±0.01 mm. Depending on the material, geometry, size, and critical features, tighter tolerances down to ±0.005 mm may be achievable after engineering review.
What materials can you CNC mill?
We CNC mill aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steels, brass, copper, titanium, and engineering plastics such as POM, PEEK, PTFE, PC, ABS, and nylon.
Can you machine complex geometries and deep features?
Yes. Our 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling capabilities support complex pockets, angled features, multiple surfaces, compound geometries, and difficult-to-access areas. Feasibility depends on feature depth, tool access, and part geometry.
What file formats can I send for a quotation?
We accept common 3D and 2D formats including STEP, STP, IGES, PDF, DWG, and DXF. STEP files are preferred for most CNC milling projects.
Do you support prototypes and low-volume production?
Yes. We support one-off prototypes, small batches, low-volume production, and repeat orders with consistent process control and inspection.
