Frequently Asked Questions
What is CNC turning best suited for?
CNC turning is ideal for cylindrical and rotational parts such as shafts, pins, bushings, sleeves, spacers, fittings, and threaded components requiring accurate diameters and concentricity.
How tight can CNC turning tolerances be?
Typical CNC turning tolerances are around ±0.01 mm. Depending on material, geometry, part size, and critical features, tighter tolerances down to ±0.005 mm may be achievable after engineering review.
What materials can you CNC turn?
We machine aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steels, brass, titanium, and engineering plastics such as POM, nylon, UHMW-PE, PEEK, PTFE, and PC.
Can you machine threads, grooves, and complex turned features?
Yes. We can machine internal and external threads, grooves, tapers, bores, shoulders, stepped diameters, and other precision turned features. Feasibility depends on part geometry, tool access, and machining requirements.
What file formats can I send for a quotation?
We accept common 3D and 2D formats including STEP, STP, IGES, PDF, DWG, and DXF. STEP files are preferred for most CNC turning projects.
Do you support prototypes and low-volume production?
Yes. We support one-off prototypes, small batches, low-volume production, and repeat orders with consistent process control and inspection.
